Allweather Matches are a survival tool often included in Emergency Survival Kits in lieu of an Everflame Lighter[1].
The matches are wind-proof, water-proof and once lit cannot be blown out until it burns itself out, serving as a mini-flare. The box included in a survival kit includes 20 matches and has negligible weight.
