A Gauss pistol is a type of gauss weapon, also sometimes known as a "coil gun". It resembles a heavy pistol or auto pistol in size and weight, has about the same range, but does slightly more damage. Gauss pistols cannot fire bursts.

Gauss pistols are often issued to government or security forces. Their possession/use is forbidden or heavily regulated in several jurisdictions because of their stealth capabilities.
