Gyrojet Pistol

A gyrojet pistol (aka cone pistol) is a large handgun. It shoots gyroslugs: small missiles that cause 2d10 points of damage when they hit a target. Gyrojet pistols do not have a Point-Blank range, because the gyroslug must accelerate to an effective speed. Skeinsuits and inertia screens absorb half the damage from a gyrojet slug.

Jetclip

Jetclips are loaded with 10 gyroslugs (small missiles). The clip is inserted into the weapon's ammo chamber in front of the trigger. Pistol and rifle jetclips are not interchangeable.

Each standard Pistol Jetclip costs 10 Cr and has little appreciable encumbrance. Doze jetclips cost 20 —Cr, Poison jetclips cost 50 Cr— and Tangler jetclips cost 30 Cr.
