WarTech Firefall heavy laser, non-standard firing position
Heavy lasgun (aka "devastator")
A heavy laser is about the size of a heavy machine gun. It must be mounted on a tripod or a swivel mount to be fired. It has longer range than a laser rifle, and a minimum SEU setting of 5. Otherwise it operates the same as the laser rifle.
- Damage: 1d10 per SEU
- Ammo: 100 SEU pack
- SEU: 5-20 per attack
- Rate: 1 shot per turn
- Defense: Albedo
- Mass: 20 kilograms
- Cost: 6000 credits
- Ranges
- Short: 0-100 meters
- Medium: 101-500 meters
- Long: 501-1000 meters
- Extreme: 1001-2000 meters
Heavy Laser, Vehicle-mounted
XM-312 Vehicle Heavy laser (successor of the PGC-HL5) tripod-mount
A vehicle mounted heavy laser is even more powerful than a standard heavy laser. As the name implies, it is typically mounted on a vehicle, though nothing prevents it from being mounted in a fixed fortification as well. It is capable of being dialed up to 30 SEU per shot, and has a longer range. Vehicle-mounted heavy lasers operate off of a power econopack.
