A Laser Hold-Out Pistol is a small, easily concealable type of laser weaponry. It is usually used as a backup or emergency weapon. Hold-out lasers are powered by two SEU microdiscs, and have an SEU dial that can be set between 1 and 4, dealing 1d10 damage per SEU used.
Many jurisdictions heavily regulate or outright ban the possession or use of a hold-out laser.
